This form is for you to give your consent to ORIC to take and/or use your photo, video or audio recording.
What is consent? Consent is when you give permission for something.
If you give consent
We need to keep your personal information.
The Privacy Act 1998 requires us to keep a record of your consent. This means along with your photo, video or audio, we will keep your:
- name
- email address and phone number
- community
- mob.
How we will use your photo, video or audio
If you consent, ORIC may use your photo, video or audio recording to explain corporate governance, help the public understand corporations, or promote our services and functions. We may use it in:
- printed products (e.g. posters, brochures, reports, newsletters)
- digital products (e.g. our website, presentations, training)
- social media (e.g. Facebook or LinkedIn).
We might give it to other parties (e.g. contractors) who help ORIC create these products. They can only use your information for creating ORIC products.
The Australian Government owns the copyright for products ORIC creates.
If you do not consent
If you do not consent, we will not use your photo, video or audio, or your personal information for the uses above.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting info@oric.gov.au or calling 1800 622 431.
Privacy
ORIC complies with the Privacy Act 1988. This law sets the way we must handle personal information. ORIC’s privacy policy tells you how to access your personal information or seek correction to your personal information, make a complaint. and how we will deal with complaints. Information that is put on the internet can be seen or used by people who aren’t in Australia. ORIC is not required to ensure that an individual or entity overseas does not breach the Privacy Act in relation to your personal information.
