Complaints involving corporations

ORIC no longer produces 6-monthly statistical reports about complaints involving corporations. The last report in this series was for the period 1 January to 30 June 2024. The previous reports are still available below for reference.

Changes to terminology and reporting

ORIC has changed the term we use when referring to 'complaints' involving corporations. We now call these 'reports of concern'. We have also changed the way we report on data and insights into corporations.

ORIC publishes information about the number of concerns reported about corporations in our State of the sector reports

About the previous complaints involving corporations reports

The statistics provide a broad picture of corporate complaints in the sector across the entire country. We are also able to monitor these aspects of corporate performance over time.

The reports provide valuable context. For the Registrar and ORIC staff the reports help us to further our knowledge on issues in the sector which is used in ongoing and annual risk analysis to inform regulatory and support activities (for example by geography, operating sector, size, frequency or recurring issues).
