ORIC can collaborate with you to design and deliver a one-off training workshop to assist your board achieve particular learning and development goals or address a specific challenge you're facing.
Depending on what you want to achieve and your circumstances, a workshop might be in person or online.

Your rule book is your key governing document. It sets out the internal governance rules that apply to your corporation. It's important that it supports your corporation to practice good governance in a way that reflects your culture.
We usually have this as part of our ‘pre-incorporation doorway service’ with starting a new corporation training.

This workshop is designed to equip participants with general knowledge and skills for being a director of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation.
It covers a range of topics on governing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation and obligations under the CATSI Act. Topics include:

Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Governance
About the qualification
The BSB41021 Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Governance builds skills and knowledge to be a director in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation. It recognises cultural obligations as well as legal and financial obligations to corporation members and stakeholders.
The course package consists of 12 units – 7 core units and 5 elective units. Students must pass all 12 units to be awarded the certificate.
