Updates to myCorp improve member and delegate management
The Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) has released recent updates to myCorp, responding to feedback from users and improving how corporations manage information on the Register of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations.
The updates focus on simplifying key administrative tasks and improving data accuracy, and making it easier for corporations to manage their membership records on the register.
New self management for authorised delegates
Directors can now self manage changes to authorised delegates in myCorp. This allows directors to change the end date of an existing delegation of the board’s powers to lodge forms and reports with the Registrar, enabling delegations to be ended early or extended as required.
This builds on existing functionality that allows directors to record a delegation, and provides greater flexibility and control over access arrangements.
Improvements to uploading membership lists
ORIC has also improved the bulk upload of membership lists by removing system codes from the downloaded spreadsheet and the previous limit on the number of rows.
Corporations can download a spreadsheet of their current members list, update it locally, and upload it again – provided the column order and headings are not changed. Each upload replaces the entire members list on the Register, helping ensure information remains current and accurate.
Continuing to improve myCorp
ORIC thanks users for their ongoing feedback, which continues to shape improvements to myCorp. Feedback, suggestions, or issues can be shared by contacting info@oric.gov.au.
