Victorian native title corporation handed back to members

The Acting Registrar of Indigenous Corporations, Joe Mastrolembo, has today announced the end of the special administration of the Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC.

The native title body was initially placed under special administration in June 2017. However, two of the corporation’s former directors successfully challenged the decision in the Federal Court and the special administration was terminated on 25 August 2017.

On 14 September 2017 the corporation was again placed under special administration.
