Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) was first registered in 2018 as a corporate entity for the Nyamal People and following an approved update to its ‘rule book’ is now ready to start operating. The Nyamal People have traditional rights and interests to land in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. NAC is pivotal in progressing the broader interests of the Nyamal People and in representing them in their dealings with governments and private industry. The corporation intends to implement and establish a strong organisation as the first step in moving to the next stage of its development.

Job description/overview:
To apply for the position you will need extensive senior level experience in a leadership role, one that has included multiple and diverse responsibilities. Applicants must also have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to effectively engage with the Nyamal community and other key stakeholders.
Strategic, operational financial, people management and sound decision-making skills are all essential for this position and the person appointed must bring a very good understanding of working with Indigenous communities.
