Biripi Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre provides a wide range of culturally-appropriate health and well-being services covering communities across the mid-northern NSW region. These include clinical, maternal health, aged care, community health and dental health services from clinics and facilities around Taree and statutory out-of-home-care through Biripi Aboriginal Children Services in Taree and Walanbaa Gaayili in Inverell.
Since 1981, Biripi ACMC has encouraged families and the wider community to participate in health promotion activities such as dental check-ups, health assessments and other services. They also help families and individuals to access and participate in Aboriginal community activities, programs and events.
Type of vacancy:
The general practitioner position is responsible for providing Aboriginal people with routine health care and medical service to improve the health and wellbeing of the Aboriginal community. Reporting to the health services manager, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide appropriate, quality health care and medical services to the Aboriginal community whilst ensure organisational objectives and standards of care are met.
