Our culturally-appropriate health and wellbeing services provide community members with a full range of services to help address general health and identified Aboriginal health issues such as chronic disease, cardio-vascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, poor diet and nutritional health, eye health, ear health, contagious diseases, drug and alcohol related issues, mental health and emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Our medical centre provides quality care with specialist services from visiting podiatrists, cardiologists, dieticians and physiotherapists.

Biripi helps families and individuals to access and participate in Aboriginal community activities, programs and events. We also encourage families and the wider community to participate in health promotion activities such as dental check-ups, medical checks and other services.

Job description/overview: 

We currently have two Practice coordinator positions vacant for this role. These positions are responsible for providing high level practice management and administrative support to facilitate excellence in care to Biripi people in accordance with Biripi model of care and in alignment with the business and strategic plans.
The Practice coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the Town Clinic, and through the development, implementation and refinement of systems, will work to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery and general operation. With a focus on client service and experience, the incumbent will lead the delivery of front-line care services by ensuring the coordination and service-wide application of systems to support the needs of an allied health multidisciplinary team.

The Practice coordinator will also liaise and work closely with the Biripi clinical services manager and when required, will provide administrative support to the Purfleet office.
