Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC) is a not-for-profit government grant and service agreement funded Aboriginal Corporation based in West Kalimna, East Gippsland. Through a diverse range of programs, GLaWAC provides works to manage, protect and restore the precious natural resources of the native title regions of Gunaikurnai land and waters.
Salary and conditions:
As a key member of executive management, the General Manager, On-Country Operations contributes to the shaping and achievement of GLaWAC’s strategy and operations. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
The primary objective of the role is to lead the management, revenue and cost elements of GLaWAC on-country operations, as well as forward planning for on-country operations and the Cultural Hub’s tourism activities.
The successful candidate may be required to reform the role of acting CEO when the CEO is absent.
Expressions of interest are invited from executives with three years’ experience in a senior leadership position, ideally at general manager level.
