Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation (NBAC), in Roebourne, Northwest WA, is one of the oldest Aboriginal organisations with over 47 years of service to local people. We are widely regarded for our commitment to Aboriginal people, high service standards and solid governance.

We are proudly 100 per cent Indigenous-owned and more than 70 per cent of our substantial workforce are local Aboriginal people.

Our not-for-profit activities provide a range of services including employment pathways, a driving school, and local Elders leadership. Our commercial arm, Brida Pty Ltd, started in 1974 and the business established in 1999. Brida has secured multi-year commercial contracts with local industry for maintenance services with a focus on grounds, cleaning, labour hire and miscellaneous works.

Job description/overview: 

NBAC is looking for a person to lead NBAC to new levels of achievement. Key priorities of the role include driving the performance of existing commercial ventures, sourcing new opportunities to expand NBAC’s business, managing the workforce and supporting the CEO and Board. The general manager reports directly to the CEO, and assists with ensuring the corporation delivers high levels of governance, respecting both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal practises
