On behalf of the Board of Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura Aboriginal Corporation (PKKPAC), we are pleased to invite applications for the position of Change Management Specialist. The appointment will be on an interim basis, with the appointee working closely with the Directors of the Corporation in their initial 6 month establishment phase.
In September 2015, the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura peoples celebrated their Native Title Determination. The PKKPAC was established to protect the rights and interests of their peoples who have traditional rights to lands and waters that cover approximately 10,888 square kilometres of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, between Onslow and Tom Price.

They require a Change management specialist who, within strict budgetary and time parameters, will:
- Assist with the development and implementation of governance and procedural frameworks and compliance plan;
- Ensure prudent management of the corporation’s finance;
- Assist with the develop an Establishment Plan and Operational Plan for the PKKPAC;
- Assist the Board to recruit an inaugural CEO.
People interested in considering this position should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a change management specialist (or a senior executive role), ideally with a Trust structure. High level communication skills, experience in best practice corporate governance and an ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines will ensure your success.
Having a strong understanding of and the ability to relate to Aboriginal people, their culture and traditions will be highly regarded.
Intending applicants should be aware that the position can either be principally in Perth or in Karratha, however if the former periodic travel to Karratha will be necessary.
