NAAFVLS  is a non-government Aboriginal organisation offering legal services and support to victims of family violence and sexual assault.  With confirmed funding for the next three years it is now actively recruiting for a senior solicitor.

Job description/overview: 

NAAFVLS is looking for a well-organised, self-motivated solicitor to join its busy legal team.  To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3 plus years PAE in family law.  You will have the ability to provide advice and representation in all areas of family law, child protection, family violence and crime compensation matters. 

You will travel to remote communities in the Top End providing legal advice and assistance to clients, as well as engage with relevant stakeholders and assist with the provision of community legal education.
