YYTLOAC represents the traditional owners of the Cooper Basin region in the north east corner of South Australia. The corporation undertakes a number of activities on its land, including cultural heritage clearance work for the oil and gas sector. The corporation is now also examining and developing a number of business development opportunities. As a result, the following position is now available.

Job description/overview: 

This role requires development and overseeing of the corporation's business activities. As the first executive appointment of the corporation we are seeking a person who will work with the board to promote the community strategy and facilitate the establishment of policies and procedures for the corporation. The individual will be required to work collaboratively with the existing management structures to further implement the business, social and cultural structure within the corporate group.

The skills you will display include ethical integrity and good judgment, the ability to develop and manage complex multi-disciplinary tasks or projects, and the desire to build successful operations whilst communicating effectively with all involved parties. To achieve this you will need to be energetic, resourceful and innovative. A respect, understanding and experience of working within the Aboriginal community controlled sector is essential.

Regional and interstate travel may be required and work outside of normal hours. The position is to be based in Adelaide and offers an attractive remuneration package.
