Job description/overview: 

Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation is looking to employ two Ranger team coordinators. Assist the Manager Land and Sea Country in providing leadership and direction, participation, management and coordination for Ranger teams.

Your high level of skills in administration and people management, coupled with a good knowledge and experience of ‘On Country’ management and a high level of cultural heritage knowledge will assist the Murujuga Ranger Program.

The program has been already heralded as being the first and unique management of traditional Aboriginal Lands operating as a National Park.

Situated in Dampier you will implement and participate as necessary in all work plans, training programs and strategic direction for the Murujuga National Park and Dampier Archipelago in accordance with the Murujuga Cultural Planning Framework.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate good working relationships with traditional owners. The nature of the work also requires a good level of fitness.

In return the corporation is offering an excellent salary dependent upon experience. Circa $85,000–$95,000 per annum.
