Arramwelke Aboriginal Corporation

The Arramwelke Aboriginal Corporation, based at Bonya, is directly funded by the Northern Territory and Commonwealth Governments to provide all municipal and essential services, and ‘repairs and maintenance’ to Aboriginal houses at Bonya and four other smaller Homelands located north-east of Alice Springs, along the Plenty Highway. Arramwelke Aboriginal Corporation also operates a small shop at Bonya selling essential food items and other merchandise.

Job description/overview: 

The chief executive officer reports directly to the directors of Arramwelke Aboriginal Corporation and Tyantyenge Aboriginal Corporation.

The position is responsible for the management of all corporation activities as directed by the directors. These responsibilities include management and supervision of the municipal and essential services officer, housing employees, workers, store personnel and other positions which may be established by the corporation from time to time.
