Pika Wiya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation provides a primary health care service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Port Augusta. It  also has clinics at Davenport, Copley and Nepabunna and provides services to the communities of Quorn, Hawker, Marree, Lyndhurst and Belta.

Job description/overview: 

The CEO will be responsible for the efficient and effective planning, budgeting, management and administration of all aspects of the organisation. The position will carry the day-to-day responsibility and accountability of the organisation through implementing the broad direction of the organisation’s business plan and, in conjunction with the board, develop and implement a long-range strategic plan.  

The successful candidate will possess:

  • outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and community
  •  a sound knowledge of Aboriginal health issues
  • strong business acumen.
  • experience in management at the CEO/senior executive
